Biography

Mr. Nick Etten served as Chief Strategy Officer at Amatra Technologies. He was previously the Vice President of Sales and Marketing for FreightWatch, Inc, a logistics security services company sold to UTC in July, 2012. Prior, he held the position of Director of Corporate Development for Triple Canopy, Inc., an international security services company. Mr. Etten also served as an investment professional at Trident Capital, a venture capital fund with $1.5B under management. At Trident, he was responsible for investment thesis and deal execution in the IT security sector. In his early career, he was an investment banking associate and served on active duty as a US Navy SEAL officer. Mr. Etten earned an MBA from the J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University and a BS in political science from the United States Naval Academy.
