Biography

Mr. Tom Ogaranko served as Chief Innovation Officer at TrustBIX. Tom Ogaranko joined ViewTrak in September 2018. As Chief Innovation Officer, he is responsible for leading ViewTrak's research and development team, where he examines the short and long-term needs of the organization, utilizing his team to help ViewTrak and BIXSco reach its objectives, as well as driving cross-company engineering initiatives and collaboration. Mr. Ogaranko has founded, scaled and exited multiple technology companies in advanced technology industries. One of his companies, RedEngine Inc. was recognized as one of Canada's fastest growing companies from 2000-2004. He has advised several provincial governments and the governments of Canada and France on innovation policy, while being involved in structuring three crown agencies in relation to research, innovation and technology development. Ogaranko has helped establish or improve 12 different CIO organizations over his consulting career and has completed a turnaround of an Information Communications Telecommunication R&D consortium. He has mobilized over $900 million of investment for private and public clients. Tom has both his Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Law from the University of Alberta. He is a member of A100 and Chairs the Capital Road Foundation, operators of Canada's early stage venture capital forums. Tom Ogaranko leads transformational change with high performing teams focused on complex challenges. Over his 24-year career, he has founded, built and exited multiple technology companies in advanced technology industries. He has advised the several provincial Governments, Canada, and France on innovation policy and has been involved in structuring the three crown agencies involved in research, innovation and technology development. Tom has assembled and structured $900 mm of investment funds for stimulating and growing innovative capacity for public and private clients. Tom is a frequent advisor to the Government on policies to grow ICT, biotechnology, genomics and cleantech sectors. Tom has also actively advised some of the leading innovative companies in Canada's pharmaceutical, energy, telecommunications and technology sectors.
