Biography

Mr. Paul Hackwell serves as a Partner at TPG. He is with TPG Capital and is based in San Francisco, where he leads the retail, consumer, and travel and leisure groups. He serves as a Board Member at LifeTime. He joined TPG in 2006 and is a Board Director of Arden Group (Gelson's), AV Homes, LifeTime Fitness, Playa Hotels & Resorts, and Viking Cruises. He was also involved in TPG's investments in Adare Pharmaceuticals, Aptalis Pharma, Norwegian Cruise Line, and Taylor Morrison. He holds an AB Summa Cum Laude from Princeton University, an MPhil from the University of Oxford, where he was a Keasbey Scholar, and an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business, where he was an Arjay Miller Scholar. He also served as Director, Finance & Operations at The Health Foundation.
