Biography

Mr. Christopher Beall is a Co-Founder and Managing Partner at Nova Infrastructure and serves as Director at Integrated Waste Solutions Group. and has 24 years of experience in private equity, investment banking and infrastructure operations and engineering. Since 2017 he has built NOVA with Allison Kingsley, forming the NOVA team and leading the execution of infrastructure investments for NOVA in the target sectors of transportation, environmental services, energy and energy transition, and communications. Prior to NOVA, he was a Managing Director and Co-Portfolio Manager for Oaktree Capital's Infrastructure Investing strategy, following Oaktree's acquisition of Highstar Capital in 2014. He was one of four owners and a Partner of Highstar Capital, a fourth-generation infrastructure private equity firm responsible for over $6.3 billion of infrastructure investments. Earlier in his career, he worked in Lehman Brothers' energy investment banking group and as an engineer in the oil and gas industry. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for Integrated Waste Solutions Group, a vertically integrated waste platform that he co-founded, and Hawthorne Aviation, a private aviation FBO platform. From 2013-2022, He also served on the Board of Directors of the National Passenger Rail Corporation (Amtrak), the largest provider of passenger rail service in the U.S.; nominated by President Obama in 2012 and confirmed by the U.S. Senate in 2013. Mr. Beall received a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Oklahoma State University and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
