Biography

Mr. Simon Martin serves as Managing Director at Hext Financial Group. He also serves as Managing Director at White Rock Advisors. He started his financial services career with Merrill Lynch, Pierce, Fenner & Smith, in private wealth management. While there he attained a Series 7 General Securities License, a Series 66 Uniform Investment Advisor License, and a Certified Financial Manager designation. In 2002, he left Merrill Lynch, and from 2002 to January 2010 he served as a senior account executive and vice president for oil and gas exploration and production drilling programs. During this time he was responsible for financing over 200 different drilling operations along the Gulf Coast and raised approximately $50 million in the capital. Mr. Martin graduated from the University of Texas with a BBA in finance and a minor in management information systems.
