Margan Mitchell General Information
Biography
Ms. Margan Mitchell served as Senior Vice President, Investor Relations at Menlo Equities. She oversees multiple aspects of investor relations, including ongoing investor engagement and communications, quarterly reporting and fundraising. Additionally, she is responsible for Menlo Equities' website and marketing activities. Prior to joining Menlo Equities, Ms. Mitchell served as the Vice President of Corporate Communications at AMB Property Corporation (now Prologis), where her responsibilities included global brand marketing, public relations, investor relations and financial communications. Prior to AMB, she served in similar roles at Catellus Development Corporation and Spieker Properties Inc., where she helped prepare the organizations for their mergers into Prologis and Equity Office Properties, respectively. Ms. Mitchell's diverse real estate background includes early-career property and asset management positions with various private capital firms and two publicly traded REITs, BRE Properties and Bay Apartment Communities (now AvalonBay Communities)-where she was a member of the senior management team during the firm's 1994 IPO. Ms. Mitchell holds a BA from San Francisco State University. She is a member and past chapter president of the International Association of Business Communicators, and served as a board member of the Public Relations Society of America, Silicon Valley Chapter.
