Biography

Mr. Michael Crisp served as General Counsel & Managing Director at Harbor Cap Partners. After a successful career in the private practice of law, Mr. Crisp joined Harbor Cap Partners to pursue growth investment opportunities and to provide our firm and portfolio companies with practical in-house legal advice. He has more than 22 years of experience counseling funds, investors, retailers and major brands in commercial disputes and transactions, intellectual property protection and regulatory compliance matters in the Retail, Consumer, Real Estate, Food and Beverage, Hospitality, Entertainment and Manufacturing industries. His focus is on ensuring that our investment objectives and business strategy are fully aligned with our legal and fiduciary responsibilities. Prior to joining Harbor Cap, he was a shareholder and practice group leader at Kilpatrick Townsend LLP and a shareholder at K&L Gates, LLP, where his clients included DuPont, Motorola, The Dial Corp, Premier Cruise Lines, Coty, Inc., Range Rover, The Gap, Holiday Inn, Intercontinental Hotels, The Home Depot, Interface, Tenet Healthcare, Sony Music, AT&T, and Pepsi, among others. In addition, he has represented numerous smaller firms, franchisors, investors and private companies such as Square 1 Venture Bank, Bruegger's Bagels, Moe's Southwest Grill (Raving Brands) and Harbor Cap portfolio company Letarte Holdings LLC. He is a member of the Georgia and New York State bar associations.
