Biography

Mr. Lawrence Shagrin is the Founder and serves as Partner at Millpond Equity Partners. Mr. Shagrin served as Board Member at TouchMath. He has twenty-five years of private equity experience, including sourcing, executing, and managing growth-oriented private equity investments in Business Services, Education & Training, Healthcare Services, and other industries. Before forming Millpond in 2015, He served as a Partner at Brockway Moran & Partners, a middle-market private equity firm with more than $1 billion of capital under management, from 2003 to 2015. He served as a Board Member at Pharmacy Development Services. Before joining Brockway Moran in 2003, he was a Managing Director at William Blair Capital Partners. He currently serves as a Director of Future Media and BrandRep. He served as Board Member at Science First. Previously, he served as a Director of Crisis Prevention Institute, Air Medical Group Holdings, Woodstream Corporation, U.S. Education Corporation, CLP Resources, and other businesses. He began his career in the Healthcare Investment Banking Group at Smith Barney. He earned his BS in Business Administration from Ohio State University and an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
