Biography

Mr. David Ellis serves as Managing Director, Investment Sales at Offerd. Mr. Ellis served as Director at Vanguard Real Estate Advisors. He acts as an advisor with regard to the sale, marketing, negotiation, due diligence, and underwriting of multifamily and commercial real estate properties. Mr. Ellis has over ten years experience in the real estate industry and has worked in the areas of investment sales brokerage, asset management, dispositions, capital markets, and construction financing. Prior to joining Vanguard, Mr. Ellis spent two years at Rockwood Real Estate Advisors where he concentrated on investment sales and equity financing of commercial and multifamily properties. While at Rockwood, he was involved in over $500 million in sales and financings across multiple asset classes. Prior to his tenure at Rockwood, he spent five years at Cushman & Wakefield in the Investment Sales Division and focused on the sale of multi-family and retail properties. His clients included REITs, Institutional Advisors, Regional Banks, Special Servicers, National Developers, and Private Investors. Prior to his role at Cushman, Mr. Ellis was employed at Crescent Real Estate Equities where he served in the Capital Markets division and disposed of over $1.0 billion in office properties in Texas, Nevada, Colorado, and Georgia. Mr. Ellis is a graduate of Texas Christian University where he earned a Bachelor of Business Administration with a focus in Finance. He holds a real estate license in the state of Texas and is a member of several community and non-profit organizations in the city of Dallas.
