Biography

Mr. Andrew Evetts is a Co-Founder and serves as a Director at Adthena. His focus over the last decade has been developing new businesses. Using his experience from an earlier investment banking career, Andrew has concentrated on building companies from initial start-up phase, through to raising funds for expansion, hiring dedicated and motivated teams, focusing on profitability and selling to a larger player. Andrew founded Oovie in 2005 and built it to be Australia's largest network of DVD rental machines, before selling the company to Hoyts, one of Australia's largest cinema operators, in Oct 2009. Concurrently, Andrew co-founded Treeview Estates, a 148 villa retirement village being developed on the western edge of the Blue Mountains outside Sydney. Treeview is already two-thirds developed and operating successfully. Prior to founding Oovie & Treeview, Andrew was an investment banker with 12 years' experience in equity derivatives trading in Australia and Asia. He served as Senior Vice President at JP Morgan in Japan and prior to that Hong Kong. Before moving to Asia, Andrew served as Vice President at Bankers Trust Australia based in Sydney. Andrew has a bachelor's degree in commerce from Bond University.
