Mark Wagar General Information

Biography

Mr. Mark Wagar served as Operating Partner at Enhanced Equity Funds. He is President of Heritage Medical Systems, a physician organization offering integrated, patient centered care for members in California, New York and Arizona through value based population management contracts and Accountable Care Organizations. Previously he served as CEO of Empire BlueCross BlueShield and as a Senior Vice President at WellPoint. Mr. Wagar has held leadership roles at CIGNA Healthcare and other provider based managed care organizations, as well as in hospital management, physician practice management and diagnostic services. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of WhiteGlove, Inc. and is a board member of other organizations focused on healthcare and diversity disparities. Mr. Wagar is a distinguished alumnus of The Ohio State University.
