Biography

Mr. Matthew Schickel serves as a Partner at EVE Partners. He served as Chief Executive Officer at Omni Logistics. He also served as a Board Member at American Global Logistics. He joined EVE in 2002. Before joining EVE, he co-founded MuncipalTrade.com, an online municipal bond trading platform, where he helped raise funds, including a friends and family round as well as venture capital funding from Benchmark Capital and Cyberstarts. From 1998 to 1999, he was an analyst and associate with First Liberty Investment Group. While in this capacity, he sourced and funded a variety of municipal-backed projects in the state of Georgia. He started his career in 1997 overseas as a financial analyst for Bern Banking Group Private in Prague, Czech Republic analyzing private funding opportunities of public municipalities. He is on the Communication Board of the Transportation Intermediary Association and has written numerous articles for the trade magazine, The Logistics Journal. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the University of Florida and a Master of Business Administration from Georgia State University.
