Biography

Mr. Pankit Doshi serves as Office Managing Partner, San Francisco and Silicon Valley Offices at McDermott Will & Emery. He is a part of the firm's Employment Practice. He is the current President of the National Asian Pacific Bar Association. He formerly served as Partner at Sheppard Mullin Richter & Hampton. He is a partner in the Labor & Employment Practice Group in the firm's San Francisco office. Mr. Doshi is a member of the firm's Recruiting and Diversity Committees. His practice focuses on preventative counseling and defending employers in both state and federal cases involving trade secret misappropriation, whistleblower, restrictive covenants, wage and hour, wrongful termination, sexual harassment, discrimination, statutory leave, retaliation, and breach of contract claims. He also represents employers in complex class action and representative action litigations. Mr. Doshi regularly provides advice and counseling to employers of all sizes, ranging from Fortune 100 companies to start-ups, on a full spectrum of labor and employment issues, including structuring of restrictive covenants, advising on employment compliance strategies and preparing executive employment agreements. Mr. Doshi has represented employers at trial, administrative hearings and during investigations by various state and federal agencies, including the U.S. Department of Labor, the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the California Department of Fair Employment and Housing and the California Department of Industrial Relations - Division of Labor Standards Enforcement. Mr. Doshi has assisted and counseled a broad range of corporate clients in the automotive, computer, consulting, entertainment, financial services, healthcare, hospitality, manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, retail, security, telecommunications and transportation industries.
