Biography

Mr. Ben Omelchenko serves as Managing Partner at Hyperwise Ventures. He also served as Board Observer at Speedb. Mr. Ben Omelchenko served as Advanced Mitigation Group Manager at Check Point Software Technologies. He is the Co-Founder and served as Board Director at Hyperwise Security. He is an angel investor and entrepreneur with more than 10 years of experience in the field of cybersecurity. Prior to turning investor, Ben co-founded Hyperwise Security that pioneered a groundbreaking CPU-Level detection technology, which was acquired by Check Point in February 2015. He established Check Point's cybersecurity innovation group, and managed the ideation, research and productization of the internally incubated advanced solutions for over four years, helping Check Point deliver the most innovative security technologies to its customers. He also helped to establish Check Point's Cyber Security Academy - an internal elite boot camp that transformed candidates without prior experience into cybersecurity researchers. During his last year in Check Point, he worked closely with the Corporate Development VP, advising on potential M&A opportunities, generating deal flow and conducting due diligence. Prior to Hyperwise Security, he co-founded Bakoomba, an offensive cyber startup, but decided after a year to focus exclusively on cybersecurity innovation. He served as a security researcher in an elite department of 8200 intelligence unit, holds a BS.C. degree in Electrical Engineering from Tel Aviv University, and is a co-inventor of 3 patents in cybersecurity. He serves as Board Observer and Advisor at ECL.
