Biography

Ms. April Rinne serves as a Venture Partner and Investor at Oregon Venture Fund. She served as a Board Member at the World Wide Web Foundation. She is the Director of WaterCredit at Water.org. WaterCredit is an innovative initiative that puts microfinance tools to use in the water and sanitation (WASH) sector and catalyzes more efficient use of philanthropic and commercial capital to meet the WASH needs of the developing world. In this capacity, she forges partnerships with MFIs and WASH organizations to promote cross-sector collaboration and financial innovation. She also collaborates with the International Development Law Organization (IDLO) as a microfinance course trainer and frequently serves as a speaker on microfinance- and WASH-related topics.
