Andy Gray General Information

Biography

Mr. Andy Gray is a Co-Founder & serves as Fund Manager, Investments at Artemis Investment Management. After graduating from Loughborough with a degree in banking and finance, Andy joined Deloitte & Touche as a trainee chartered accountant before moving into corporate finance as a support analyst. His focus moved to fund management in 1998 when he joined Murray Johnstone as an assistant fund manager. Three years followed at Legg Mason as a manager of UK small-cap funds. He then joined SWIP, becoming an investment director with responsibility for a number of large-cap funds and institutional mandates. Andy joined Artemis in 2006. He manages the Artemis VCT plc and works alongside Derek Stuart in managing the Artemis UK Special Situations Fund. Additionally, he assists John Dodd and Mark Niznik with stock selection in the small-cap and AIM sectors.
