Biography

Mr. Francisco Lorca is a Co-Founder and serves as Chief Executive Officer & Board Member at EthosData and also serves as its Chief Executive Officer. He serves as Board Member at Moneygram. He brings an unique combination of skills and experience to the Company. With over 17 years of professional experience, he has experience both in management, strategic and operation roles in several industries. Prior to joining EthosData, he was President Mobile Payments and Prepaid Services for First Data International. During his tenure in First Data, he was also in charge of its international growth strategy. Before First Data, he was Managing Director of Teknoland, a Spanish Internet holding which was acquired by Terra Lycos (Telefonica) in 2001. In this role he led the growth of the company in Spain and Latin America and the execution of a number of significant acquisitions and divestitures. Prior to managing Teknoland, he was part of the business development team at GE Capital, reporting to the President of GE Capital Europe. During his tenure he participated on a number of transactions and attained approval from Jack Welch to establish an early stage venture fund for GE Capital. Prior to his role in GE Capital, he was a consultant with McKinsey and Company for five years. He served the financial services, consumer goods and energy sectors with a focus on corporate finance and strategy. He received a MBA from the University of Houston and a Bachelor of Science from California State University. He is also a Six Sigma Green Belt.
