Biography

Mr. Eric Young served as Partner at Morrison Cohen. He regularly represents hedge funds and private equity funds and investors in such funds in all aspects of fund organization and operation. He regularly advises clients in connection with structuring, negotiating, and documenting corporate acquisitions and dispositions, secured and unsecured debt and equity financing, subordinated loans and loan modifications, and workouts. He also advises funds with respect to their ongoing investments and compliance obligations. Eric has extensive experience in secured lending, where he has represented both lenders and borrowers in general corporate and commercial matters. Eric has also spent a significant portion of his career working with entrepreneurs in the formation and early-stage financing of their ventures and counseling them through successive capital raises, including initial public offerings.
