Biography

Mr. Roy Avondet is an Angel Investor. Mr. Avondet served as Chief Executive Officer at Freehand Systems International. He served as Chief Financial Officer at Global Upside. He served as Chief Financial Officer at Sheet Music Now. As Senior Advisor, He brings more than 30 years of experience with one of the world's premier accounting firms to Global Upside. He was a partner at Deloitte & Touche and served the firm for 34 years before retiring in 2006. While at Deloitte, He established an assurance practice in Hyderabad, India with approximately 300 chartered accountants. The practice continues to grow as part of Deloitte's US-India Region of nearly 11,000 employees. In 2003 and 2004, He was a leader of a large Deloitte team at MCI-Worldcom that identified and resolved accounting issues so the Company could publish several years' of account restatements enabling them to emerge from bankruptcy as MCI. From 1995 to 2003, He was the Managing Partner of Deloitte's Silicon Valley office. During that time, business at that office grew fivefold as Deloitte worked with many leading global technology companies. He holds a B.S. in accounting from Brigham Young University.
