Biography

Mr. Mohamed Mansour is a Co-Founder & serves as Chairman at Man Capital. He also serves as Chairman of the Board at Right to Dream. He took over the Mansour Group following the passing of his father in 1976. From early 2006 until October 2009, he was appointed as the Minister of Transport in Egypt, one of the largest government ministries, employing more than 250,000 people. He is the Founder and Chairman of the Mansour Automotive Company (General Motor's distributor), Mantrac Group and Unatrac (Caterpillar's distributor), and Crédit Agricole Egypt - the country's second-largest bank. He is the Founder and Chairman of the Lead Foundation, a non-profit organization providing funding to small and micro enterprises in Egypt. He has also served as the Chairman of the Egypt-U.S. Business Council and was the President of the American Chamber of Commerce in Egypt, as well as the Secretary-General of the Egyptian Centre for Economic Studies (ECES). He is also a board member for the Centre for Contemporary Arab Studies at Georgetown University; part of the George Washington School of Business Advisory Board and the International Advisory Board of Coca-Cola. He gained an engineering degree from North Carolina State University in 1968, and an MBA from Auburn University in 1971, where he taught until 1973.
