Biography

Mr. Dean Monske served as President at Rocket Venture Fund. In February 2011, Dean was named President & CEO of the Regional Growth Partnership (RGP), a private, nonprofit economic development corporation dedicated to fostering local, national, and international economic growth opportunities for northwest Ohio and southeast Michigan. In this role, Dean leads three business units: Business Development, Northwest Region of the JobsOhio Network, and Rocket Ventures, the wholly-owned subsidiary company of RGP that provides investment and entrepreneurial services to high-tech northwest Ohio companies. Dean has been an economic development professional for over 15 years. Previously, he served as Deputy Mayor of External Affairs in the administration of Toledo Mayor Michael P. Bell, with responsibility for managing the City of Toledo's economic development efforts. From 2006 - 2009, Dean was Vice President of the Regional Growth Partnership, with responsibility for engaging investors in the business community, working with public and private sector regional partners on business retention and expansion projects, and serving as RGP's representative when promoting the region nationally and internationally. Before RGP, Dean was Executive Director of the Oregon Economic Development Foundation (Oregon, Ohio) and a business development executive at FirstEnergy Toledo Edison.
