Biography

As the CEO and Founder of his eCommerce startup, He conceived a new business model for the $7B high-end apparel market and built a revenue-generating business in nine months. He built the user experience and back-end systems, managed marketing efforts, forged partnerships with multi-million dollar designer labels, and directed the long-term strategy and vision of the company. Before starting his own company, he worked as a Corporate Strategy and M&A Manager at Microsoft. His responsibilities included strategic planning, market analysis, deal evaluation, due diligence, valuation modeling, and product strategy. He evaluated acquisition targets ranging from $2M - $30B valuations. He led the strategic framing and financial modeling efforts for Microsoft's $15M investment and partnership with Foursquare. He also worked with executives at Microsoft to devise the company's strategy in search, enterprise software, and SaaS business applications. He worked at a hedge fund in New York earlier in his career and is a graduate of The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania with a B.Sc. in Finance and Entrepreneurship and a BA in International Studies.
