Biography

Mr. Shane Lauf served as Principal at Permira. He also served as Principal, KKR Capstone at Kohlberg Kravis Roberts. He worked with KKR portfolio companies including Panasonic Healthcare, Genesis Care, Bis Industries, Cafe Coffee Day, and Dalmia Cement. Prior to joining KKR Capstone, Mr. Lauf worked with high-tech and consumer goods companies at McKinsey & Company in Japan. Mr. Lauf also led product marketing for grid-scale energy storage solutions at Primus Power. Mr. Lauf holds a B.E. in Computer Engineering and a B.A. in Japanese from Wollongong University, and an M.B.A. from the Stanford Graduate School of Business, where he was selected as a Siebel Scholar. He is fluent in English and Japanese.
