Biography

Mr. Steve O'Deegan served as Managing Partner & Managing Director at Vantage (Human Capital Services). Steve is an entrepreneur, business builder and talented executive search leader. Since entering the tech-arena 17 years ago, Steve has co-founded three companies, been an operator of two and worked for some of the most revered boutique search firms in Silicon Valley. Steve joined Vantage Partners in 2010 as Managing Director and led the marketing, product and sales search practice across three key markets for Vantage: enterprise & SaaS, cloud & infrastructure and consumer internet. In 2015, Steve was promoted to Managing Partner overseeing the business operations for the firm. His specialty is serving high-growth technology companies that demand the highest impact executives to accelerate their business. Steve also oversees Benchpick.com, a privately held internet company seed-funded by Vantage Partners; the company is currently in beta and looks to revolutionize the way high-demand talent and company executives network with one another. Previously, Steve was VP Sales and Marketing at Fastpencil, a venture-backed SaaS company acquired by Courier Corporation (Nasdaq: CRRC). He also served as Partner with the Laurel Group, Principal with Howard Fischer and Co-Founder/CEO of Celerity Staffing. Steve was a corporal in the U.S. Army (25th I.D./Ranger).
