Biography

Ms. MacKenzie Place served as Vice President at Lakeside Partners. Ms. Place served as Senior Associate of business Development at Odyssey Investment Partners. Before joining Lakeside Partners, she was with Meridian Capital, a generalist M&A advisory firm in Seattle, and Odyssey Investment Partners, a middle-market private equity firm in New York. Since joining Lakeside in 2020, she had played a central role in executing some of the firm's most meaningful Distribution and Logistics transactions including the sale of Crystal Creek Logistics. Before joining the firm, Ms. Place was an Associate at Bridge City Ventures, an early-stage venture fund, where she focused on sourcing deals. Ms. Place graduated cum laude from Sweet Briar College where she received a BA in Business Administration.
