Ryan is President and CEO of Washington Analysis, in addition to being a Senior Financial Services and Housing Analyst. He joined Washington Analysis in 2007 from Cassidy & Associates, a leading government relations firm in Washington, DC, where he focused on legislation and regulation across several sectors, including financial services. He also spent time at several research organizations in Washington, including the Brookings Institution.
Ryan completed all coursework and comprehensive examinations toward completion of a Ph.D. in political science and econometrics at George Washington University, after graduating from the University of Notre Dame with a dual degree in political science and philosophy.

John Sonsalla joined Washington Analysis in 2022 as Head of Strategy and Senior Financial Services and Housing Analyst. Immediately prior to joining Washington Analysis, he worked in the Investment Banking and Capital Markets Division of Credit Suisse, where he covered financial sponsors and executed a range of leveraged finance transactions. Before working in finance, he spent a decade in policy and political arena with experience both on and off Capitol Hill.
John received his Master of Business Administration from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, graduating with honors and majoring in Finance and Business Economics and Public Policy. He graduated cum laude from the School of Public Affairs at American University with a double major in Political Science and Interdisciplinary Studies.

Ulan holds an MBA from the NYU Stern School of Business, magna cum laude, and attended the University of Maryland College Park, where he majored in Economics and Criminal Justice.
