Byron Crowe, MD MS

Chief Medical Officer, Doctronic

Dr. Byron Crowe is Chief Medical Officer at Doctronic, the nation’s leading platform for AI-native care. In this role, he leads clinical strategy and the development of Doctronic’s care model across its technology and nationwide physician practice. Additionally, he holds a faculty appointment at Stanford as a clinical assistant professor in the department of medicine where his work and teaching focuses on the impact of technology on complex human systems.

Dr. Crowe’s work spans the intersection of digital health innovation and academic medicine. Prior to joining Doctronic, he served as CMO at Solera Health where he built and scaled a national network of digital health programs for payers and employers. He concurrently served on the faculty of Harvard Medical School where he conducted foundational research on AI performance in clinical reasoning. In 2024, he was named one of Modern Healthcare’s “40 Under 40” innovators. He is a graduate of Emory University School of Medicine, holds a Master’s in clinical informatics management from Stanford and is dual-board certified in internal medicine and clinical informatics.
