Help: Getting started with multi-factor authentication (MFA)

Learn how to set up MFA for your PitchBook account.

Overview

Multi-factor authentication (MFA) adds an extra layer of security to your PitchBook account by requiring a second verification method in addition to your password. Our process also includes a recovery code you can save in case you are unable to use a second verification method. You can choose from the following approved MFA methods:

  • SMS text message
  • Third-party authenticator app (Google Authenticator or similar)
