First Republic Bank raised $280.5 million in its IPO after pricing shares at $25.50 apiece, the middle of its expected price range. BofA Merrill Lynch, Morgan Stanley and JP Morgan served as joint book-running managers. The offering included 11 million shares of common stock, about 4.1 million of which were sold by the bank, while the other 6.9 million were sold by certain shareholders. Colony Capital, Sequoia Capital and General Atlantic acquired the bank for $1.86 billion just this past July. First Republic is now trading on the NYSE under the symbol FRC.
