Prior to that, he was a Vice President at Blumberg Capital ($1B AUM) investing in the US and Israel. Prior to that, he did strategy consulting at Accenture across a range of verticals including healthcare, financial services, and technology. Earlier, he led product teams at Andiamo Systems and later Cisco which acquired Andiamo in 2004 for $1.3B. Prior to that, he held engineering roles at Softaware Networks and later at Digital Island, which acquired Softaware Networks in 2000 for $450M. He is also co-founder of Vama, an eco-technology company. His investments at Emergent Ventures include Observe.ai, Accel Data, BoostUp, SupportLogic, Talview, BasicBlock, UptimeAI, Rocketium, Sagetap, Arcion Labs (acquired by Databricks) and Minjar (acquired by Nutanix). At Blumberg Capital and Nexus Venture Partners, he was part of the team that led seed investments in Braze (Nasdaq: BRZE), Cyvera (acquired by Palo Alto Networks), Arkin (acquired by VMWare), Parse.ly (acquired by Automattic) and BringIT (acquired by IGT). He has been featured in the Business Insider Top Seed Investor list for 3 years in a row. He holds a Bachelor's in Computer Science and Engineering from IIT Delhi, a Master's in Computer Science from UCLA, and an MBA in Management from the Wharton School where he graduated as a Palmer Scholar. He is also a co-inventor of five technology patents. He has been a frequent speaker in conferences and forums such as TedX on investing, personal growth & consciousness and is a keen practitioner of yoga and meditation.
