Mr. William Stewart serves as Executive Chairman at Xpansiv Data Systems. He serves as a Board Member at Avalanche Technology and PokitDok. He served as Venture Partner at Rogers Venture Partners. He served as Advisor at NXM. Prior to joining Rogers Venture Partners, he was the Co-Founder and CEO of Mezzanine Capital Partners ("MCP") based in San Francisco, CA. MCP specializes in providing debt and equity financing to venture-backed IT companies in the U.S. He was also the Founder and Chairman of Asia Pacific Ventures (APV) in 1990 where Mr. He worked directly with over 200 U.S. and Asia-based high technology companies acting as a strategic business development advisor, raising more than $3 billion in equity, debt, licensing, and joint venture financing. He has played a central role in creating, negotiating, and structuring business and technology partnerships in Japan, China, and Asia with U.S. based venture-backed IT start-ups and F500 companies such as; Lexmark, Intuit, RSA, Verisign, Red Hat, OpenX, Jawbone, e.piphany, Tessera, Cybersource, and many others. He was the Founding General Partner of APV Technology Partners (APV TP Funds I, II, and III) from 1995~2005 where he applied his skill set, experience, and global contacts in focusing on early-stage IT investing for APV TP. He started his high-tech career at NEC Corporation and was the first U.S. Executive transferred to NEC Headquarters in Tokyo in 1995. He was involved in the global corporate planning of NEC's Computer and Communications (C and C) market expansion and systems integration throughout the world. He has a BA in Economics from St. Anselm College, N.H., where he was on the Board of Trustees for 12 years. In addition, he has an MBA in Finance from Suffolk University, Boston, MA.
