Help: Navigating your account settings

Personalize your PitchBook settings on the My Account page for a seamless platform experience that suits your needs. View and edit your login details, currency, and other platform preferences. Navigate to this page by clicking your name in the top right corner of the platform, and then Account Settings from the drop-down menu.
This article will walk through the details of each setting on the My Account page.
Not a PitchBook customer?
In the General tab of My Account, you can update your personal information, including your name, email, password, and more.
Ready to get started?
Adjust any personal details you’d like to include, such as your job title and any phone numbers. You can also change your account photo, request changes to your username or email, change your password, and view contact information for your PitchBook account manager.

In the Preferences tab of My Account, you can update various preferences, including currency and number formatting options.
Adjust how you’d like to view currency in the platform within the Currency & Number Preferences section. As you make changes, the Example Currency shown on the right will update to reflect your selections. Once you change your currency, financials within the platform will be displayed in the currency you have chosen.
Below the currency menus, you can enable the Native Currency Hover feature to view data in its original currency by hovering over the data point.
The Other Preferences section includes several different settings that affect your platform view.
- Search Date Format – Choose how you’d like to view dates. As you make changes, the Example Date on the right will update to reflect your selections.
- Page Format – Choose whether you’d like to view files in Letter or A4 format.
- Time Zone Region – Choose your timezone. Having your timezone set correctly means your alerts on saved searches and subscriptions will be delivered in the AM.
- Daily Profile Updates – Turn on to see recent updates on profiles that you visit highlighted with a green circle or bar.
- Default to Overview Tab – Turn on to land on the Overview tab after you run a Companies & Deals screener. If you do not have this enabled, you will land on the Companies search results tab.
- Company Profile: Highlights Section – Turn on to enable the Highlights section on a Company profile. If you do not have this enabled, you will not see the Highlights section.
