After running a search, select Charts from the ribbon at the top of the search results page. This will prompt a drop-down menu that lists the types of data you can chart by.
The options in the drop-down menu are based on the results tabs available in your search results, so they will vary based on the screener you choose.
Note: If you have any filters on your search results tabs, these will be carried into your chart.

There are two features in the chart builder that you can use to modify your charts: Chart Settings and Add Filters. Learn more about these features below.
In the chart builder, you will find the Chart Settings panel on the left-hand side. There are several ways to use this panel to modify your charts to surface data.
- Chart style – Click on the chart style preview to change the type of chart being displayed. The chart style options will vary based on the type of data you have selected.
- Data inputs – Click the data input to open a drop-down menu of all available data points. The available data points will change depending on the chart style you have selected. Possible data inputs you’ll see across chart styles include Bar Graph, Line Graph, Main Value, Percentage, or Breakdown by.
- Time Period/Interval – Filter the data by year, quarter, or month to see how the data changes over these different time frames. You also have control over how many years/quarters/months appear in your visual.
- Time period by – In a Debts chart, set a specific range of dates to view in your chart and choose whether you want that date range to apply to the maturity date or the issue date.
Refine your chart by adding filters to update your results dynamically. The filters break down the data so you can focus on what’s relevant to your needs. To add a filter to your chart, follow these steps.
- Click the blue Add Filters option above the Chart Settings panel. A drop-down menu will open with the fields you can filter by.
- After using the checkboxes to select your filters, use the down caret(s) to choose the specific details of each filter. In some fields, you can type into the box to quickly find the filter you need.
- Click Apply filters to finalize.
