What is PitchBook’s Data Feed?

If you require raw data with specific parameters at regular intervals, then the Data Feed solution is perfect for you. With PitchBook’s data feed, you choose the exact data points you need for each company and specify the frequency at which you want the data fed into your internal business system.

The Data Feed is delivered via Secure File Transfer Protocol (SFTP), AWSS3, Azure or to a specific cloud service which are all secure methods of receiving large amounts of data. Once you set up the Data Feed, you can sit back and let the information you need be delivered to you.

What is PitchBook’s API?

PitchBook’s API solution allows you to call specific PitchBook data into your internal business systems on demand. This flexible solution means you have access to PitchBook’s database.

It’s the ideal integration for CRM enrichment which allows you to extract the data on an ad-hoc basis that meets the needs of your business. Not only can you look at a specific entity and pull valuable data, but the API solution allows you to apply specific criteria, such as location and industry, to drill down into the businesses you discover.

What data can I pull using the API?

To become comfortable using the PitchBook API, a test “sandbox” environment can be created for developers within your business to practice making API calls and understand how the API integrates with your systems.
