- To connect and use the PitchBook Premium Connector, you need a seat-based, unlimited, or PitchBook trial license and single sign-on (SSO) credentials. For more information about PitchBook’s SSO steps, visit our Help Center article Getting started with single sign-on (SSO).
- You will need ChatGPT Plus or Pro, ChatGPT Business, Enterprise, or Edu workspaces.

Ready to get started?
An admin must first enable the PitchBook Premium Connector for your organization within ChatGPT by following these steps.
1. In ChatGPT, tap your name in the bottom-left corner.
2. Next, navigate to your Workspace Settings and select Apps.
3. Click on the Directory tab.
4. Then, search for the PitchBook app, and click the Enable button in the app listing.
Once your admin enables the connection using the steps above, you can connect to PitchBook and begin accessing PitchBook data in ChatGPT by following these steps:
1. Open ChatGPT and tap your name in the bottom-left corner.
2. Select Settings, then Apps.
3. Locate the PitchBook app and select Connect.
4. You’ll then be prompted to authenticate using single sign-on (SSO).
5. Once you’ve successfully connected, select Start Chat to begin using PitchBook data in ChatGPT.
Note: When you start a new chat in the future, click the plus sign (+) button in the message box, select More, and then choose PitchBook to enable PitchBook data in your responses when it’s relevant to your query.

When PitchBook introduces new tools and data sets to the Premium Connector, your ChatGPT admin must first enable access for the rest of your team. By default, new data sets are not enabled until the admin takes the following steps:
1. Open the ChatGPT Admin Dashboard and locate the PitchBook Premium Connector.
2. Select the “...” menu, then choose Action Control.
3. In this example, the admin is enabling PitchBook Research reports. Tap the checkbox next to pitchbook_get_reports_analysis and tap Confirm. Doing this sets up PitchBook research reports access for your firm through ChatGPT.
