Help: PitchBook Premium Connector for Perplexity

When you want to use both PitchBook and Perplexity, switching between platforms can add unnecessary steps. The PitchBook Premium Connector streamlines this by enabling secure, direct access to PitchBook data within Perplexity.
This article outlines the requirements and steps to set up the connector, enabling Perplexity to reference PitchBook data in your workflow.
Not a PitchBook customer?
PitchBook Premium with Perplexity is called the PitchBook (Self-Licensed) connector, also known as BYOL (Bring Your Own License). No Perplexity admin is required to enable it, so setup is straightforward and can be completed at the user level, as long as you have the following:
- A seat-based, unlimited, or PitchBook trial license
- Single sign-on (SSO) credentials enabled as your PitchBook login method. For more information on SSO setup, visit our Help Center article Getting started with single sign-on (SSO)
- Access to Perplexity Computer
Ready to get started?
1. Open Perplexity, and navigate to Computer on the left panel.
2. From the chat box, select the plus sign (+).
3. Hover over Connectors and sources.
4. Select Manage Connectors.
5. Locate and select PitchBook from the Connectors library screen.
6. Select PitchBook (Self-Licensed).
Note: PitchBook (Perplexity Premium), also shown on this screen, is the PitchBook Essential Connector offering.
7. Lastly, click Add connector. Perplexity will now automatically use the connector in responses when relevant to your query.
