As 2016 comes to a close and we head into the season of year-end performance reviews and compensation-related conversations, it's important to make sure you know what the data shows. According to Jody Thelander, CEO & Founder of Thelander Consulting, “2016 looks to be another strong, consistent year for merit increases. CEOs are averaging 6.0%, and employees are averaging 4.7%.”
The data is based on the recently completed Thelander Private Company Year End Merit Increase & Option Pool survey, which includes data from almost 400 private companies ranging from the tech, biotech and medical device industries.
