Callan Associates is an employee-owned investment consulting firm providing institutional investors with customized investment solutions that are backed by proprietary research, reliable data, ongoing education, and decision support. Callan uses a client-focused consulting model to serve public and private pension plan sponsors, endowments, foundations, operating funds, smaller investment consulting firms, investment managers, and financial intermediaries. The firm operates through four distinct lines of business, Fund Sponsor Consulting, Independent Adviser Group (IAG), Institutional Consulting Group (ICG), and Trust Advisory Group (TAG). The Fund Sponsor Consulting group provides clients with strategic planning, plan implementation, monitoring and evaluation, and continuing education. IAG delivers consulting resources and services to a select group of independent consulting firms and financial intermediaries. Callan's ICG division offers investment manager clients research, education, performance measurement, and database and analytical tools that help them serve the needs of institutional investors. The Trust Advisory Group specializes in the design, implementation, and ongoing management of multi-manager and discretionary portfolios for institutional investors.
