Developer of nanoscale optical technologies designed to produce hydrogen from just sunlight, water, and minimal electricity, with little or no carbon. The company's technologies form nanostructures in titanium foil which is grown such that the resulting titania film is strained, altering the normal bandgap of titania to be optimally aligned with hydrogen evolution potential and solar spectrum, enabling industries to produce renewable, carbon-free, low-cost hydrogen that will reduce global warming and increase the Nation's energy security.
