Mr. Pankaj Patel serves as Chairman of the Board of Zydus Lifesciences. He is an innovation-driven, global healthcare company with operations in more than 50 countries worldwide. A stalwart and a visionary, Mr. Pankaj Patel combines both research and techno-commercial expertise. Mr. Patel has been appointed as the Non-official Director in Central Board of the Reserve Bank of India. He is the Chairperson of the Board of Governors of the Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Ahmedabad and IIM, Udaipur. He is also on board of various educational institutes viz-a-viz The Ahmedabad University, CEPT, Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies, Gujarat Law Society, Nirma University and Anant National University. Mr. Patel is also on the Board of Invest India. Mr. Patel is also the Past President of the Federation of Indian Chamber of Commerce & Industry (FICCI). Mr. Pankaj Patel is the Executive Chairman, Vice President and Trustee of the Gujarat Cancer Society and Chairman of the Gujarat Cancer and Research Institute, a Regional Cancer Centre and one of the largest cancer centres of India, reaching out to the needy and underprivileged cancer patients. He also officiates as the Chairman of the Deaf and Mute School, Ahmedabad.
