Before joining Index, Gil was a Principal with Gemini Israel Ventures. There, he led investments in The Gifts Project (acquired by eBay), JFrog, and LoyalBlocks. Before that, as a principal at Genesis Partners, also based in Tel Aviv, Gil was very actively involved in several investments including Yedda (acquired by AOL), Innovid, SiSense, and Profitect. Gil holds an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and an AB in Economics from Harvard University. He is also an Angel Investor.
