Mr. Rajesh Kamat serves as Managing Director at Emerald Media Advisors. He also serves as Board Member at Global Sports Commerce. Listed as India's hottest 40 under 40 Business Leaders by Economic Times and Spencer Stuart, he was previously the COO of Peter Chernin's Asia-focused private equity fund CA Media. He had formerly launched Viacom18's popular Hindi GEC network COLORS, which became the leading channel in the country within 9 months. He served as COO of Viacom 18 Group and CEO of COLORS. Prior to COLORS, he launched Endemol India and served as its Managing Director. He has also served as SVP of Commercial & Business Planning at STAR India and held various marketing positions at Coca-Cola and MTV India. He has also been named Impact Media Person of the Year in 2009 and 'Outstanding Entrepreneur of Asia Pacific for 2010. He is a Bachelor of Engineering and also holds a Master's in Business Administration.
