Description
Duke Energy Retirement Savings Plan is a single-employer defined contribution corporate pension plan based in Charlotte, North Carolina. Established in 1959, the plan provides retirement, death and disability benefits to the employees of Duke Energy. The purpose of the plan is to provide an opportunity for eligible employees to enhance their long-range financial security through employee contributions, matching contributions from participating companies and investment among certain investment funds, one of which provides indirect ownership in Duke Energy common stock.
