Description

Retirement Income Plan For Employees of El Paso Electric Company is a single employer-defined benefit corporate pension based in El Paso, Texas. Established in 1945, as amended and restated, provides retirement and death benefits for qualified employees of the El Paso Electric Company. The plan is a noncontributory defined-benefit plan. Starting January 31, 2014, benefits are payable under a contract with Wells Fargo Bank, N.A. Assets of the plan are held by a trustee. The trustee has full discretionary authority to trade all assets within the Plan and to the extent, that such power has been delegated to the investment manager by the Benefits Oversight Committee of the Company. The assets are managed by the executive management team.
