Oregon Growth Board is an economic development agency based in Salem, Oregon. The agency was created in the 2012 Legislative Session in an effort to spur economic growth in Oregon, with a focus on increasing the state's ability to grow companies from early-stage to large, locally headquartered firms. An important focus is placed on leveraging state resources to improve the availability of capital for high-growth companies. The Oregon Growth Board manages two sources of investment capital - the Oregon Growth Fund and the Oregon Growth Account. The Oregon Growth Fund is a capital source for smaller and sometimes newer investment vehicles. The Oregon Growth Account is a capital source for larger in-state and out-of-state investment vehicles. The Board of Directors is responsible for the administration of the firm.
