Description
The International Petroleum Investment Company (IPIC) was a sovereign wealth fund based in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. The company was formed in 1984 by Late HH Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al-Nahyan, the founder and father of the UAE, to advance his vision of using Abu Dhabi's natural petroleum wealth to build a modern, diversified economy for the benefit of future generations. The company merged with International Petroleum Investment Company to form Mubadala Investment Company in 2017 and hence, the organization is no longer active and tracked by PitchBook.
