David Cox is based in London and helps head-up leveraged finance coverage for LCD’s European news desk. He joined LCD most recently in 2016 and has more than 20 years experience writing about debt markets in Europe, with a particular focus on syndicated loans. As well as a previous stint at S&P Global/LCD he has also worked at Thomson Reuters/IFR and Bloomberg.
Taron Wade is a director on LCD’s London team, leading European research. She most recently was a director for the European Corporate Research team at S&P Global Ratings, with a focus on capital markets. Prior to that, she wrote about the credit markets for Breakingviews and was loans and leveraged finance editor for EuroWeek (now Global Capital). Wade spent the first five years of her career writing for various capital market newsletters published by Institutional Investor, both in New York and in London.
She graduated from Cornell University with a B.S. in Applied Economics and Business Management.
Michael is a reporter for LCD in London, with a specific focus on European collateralized loan obligations. Prior to joining LCD in June 2020, Michael worked for various publications covering syndicated loans—spanning leveraged, investment-grade, project and property financing—across EMEA and the US.
Francesca Ficai is a managing editor overseeing private credit in Europe. She joined LCD in January 2020 after working for Debtwire and Mergermarket. She started her career in policy, working for the European Commission and the House of Parliament, and is fluent in four languages.
Tom covers European high-yield bonds for LCD, having joined the company in 2021. Prior to joining LCD, Tom covered both investment-grade and speculative-grade debt at Bond Radar and has additional experience in legal journalism.
