Help: Find your recently viewed content in the History tab

Learn how the History tab helps you locate your recently viewed searches and profiles.

Overview

Have you ever looked at your saved searches to find that perfect deal sourcing search you built yesterday, only to realize you never saved it? Or found yourself clicking through profiles to show someone the interesting company you were viewing last week, but can’t remember quite which one it was?

The History tab on the PitchBook sidebar addresses exactly these situations, providing an easy way to revisit your recently run screeners and your recently viewed profiles. Find the History tab at the bottom of the sidebar in the My PitchBook section.

Viewing your platform activity

The History tab is where you can find all of your previous activity performed on the PitchBook Platform. To use the History tab, simply hover over History at the bottom of the PitchBook sidebar. A short preview of your recent searches and profiles will appear. To see a more extensive list, click History or View more at the bottom of the preview window. Hovering over any item in the list displays the date and time you viewed that item, along with a quick view of the search criteria or the profile. Click on any of the results in the list to return to the full profile or screener results.

If you use the History tab frequently and want to keep the list streamlined with only the most important results, click on the X next to any item to remove it from the list.

“PitchBook is the gold standard for data on privately-backed companies and the VC and PE ecosystem. Over the years they have expanded their coverage to provide excellent data on public companies and M&A as well, and have vastly increased the coverage on international companies. The platform is intuitive and easy-to-use and customer service is top-notch.”
