MessageBird inks $600M deal for SparkPost, extends Series C

Cloud communication company MessageBird has agreed to buy SparkPost, a US developer of email sending technology, for $600 million. The Amsterdam-based startup also extended its previously announced $200 million Series C to $1 billion. The extension was backed by investors including Eurazeo, Tiger Global, Owl Rock and BlackRock.
