Description
Mr. LeBron James is a Co-Founder and Co-Owner and serves as Chairman at The SpringHill Company. Mr. James is a Co-Founder of LRMR Ventures. Previously, he co-owned the company. He is a Co-Founder of Ladder (Food Products). He is a Co-Founder & serves as Chairman at SpringHill Co. He is a Co-Founder of Uninterrupted and Ladder. He also co-founded SheetsBrand. He is widely considered one of the greatest athletes of his generation and regarded by some as the best basketball player of all time. Revered by fans around the globe, James's accomplishments on the court include four NBA Most Valuable Players Awards, three NBA Championships and three NBA Finals MVP Awards, two Olympic gold medals,s, and an NBA scoring title. He is the all-time NBA playoffs scoring leader and has amassed fourteen NBA All-Star game appearances, twelve All-NBA First Team selections, and five All-Defensive First Team honors. He played high school basketball for St. Vincent and St. Mary High School in his hometown of Akron, Ohio, before joining the Cleveland Cavaliers in 2003 as the first overall draft pick. As a member of the Miami Heat, he won his first NBA championship in 2012 and followed that with another title a year later. In 2014, he re-signed with the Cavaliers and, in 2016, led the franchise to its first NBA championship. In 2018, he signed with the Los Angeles Lakers. Throughout his career, he has made charitable efforts a priority, namely through the LeBron James Family Foundation. Founded by him in 2004, the program supports more than 1,300 at-risk students with the resources, mentors, and interventions they need to be successful. All of the Foundation's principles are rolled into the I PROMISE School, an Akron Public School that provides complete wraparound support for its students and their families. James's diverse business portfolio of innovative endorsements and investments has established him as one of the most influential figures in all sports. In 2014, Forbes ranked him as the top athlete on their list of the world's most powerful celebrities for his influence beyond the sports landscape. He has also appeared on TIME's annual list of the 100 most influential people in the world, Bloomberg BusinessWeeks 100 Most Influential People in Sports, and the Sports Business Journal's 50 Most Influential People in Sports Business. Also adding to his off-the-court portfolio is James's increasing influence in the entertainment industry, namely through his own SpringHill Entertainment. Named after the public housing complex where he grew up in Akron, SpringHill Entertainment develops content across a variety of platforms including digital, documentary, and feature films and scripted and unscripted TV.
